The Venture Club of Indiana has selected Novilytic to pitch in their 2021 Innovation Showcase thanks to a nomination by the Purdue Research Foundation. This provides Novilytic with the opportunity to secure a grand prize of $10,000 in non-dilutive capital.
The participating companies were chosen based on their technology's ability to revolutionize their industry. For us, this focuses on our Proteometer's identification of toxic and irregular substances in real-time during biopharmaceutical production. The technology provides pharmaceutical manufacturers with FDA-compliant data and saves hundreds of thousands of dollars per reaction by improving yield and preventing lost batches.
Preliminary pitches will be delivered in video form mid-August, then the field of participants will be trimmed by half. If we make the cut, we're considered a finalist and will have an opportunity to compete for the grand prize on September 1 during the live event at the NCAA Hall of Champions.
