Novilytic Selected As Alternate Finalist For Rally IN-Prize Pitch Competition

To showcase Proteometer-L Kit in Hardtech category

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Novilytic, a molecular recognition company that utilizes nanotechnology to monitor the quality of lifesaving medicines, was selected as an alternate finalist in the Hardtech Studio for the Rally IN-Prize competition, one of the largest pitch competitions, awarding up to $5 million dollars. Pitches will take place August 29-31 during the inaugural Rally conference, the first cross-sector innovation conference of its kind, and will award investments across five industries: Software, Ag & Food, Healthcare, SportsTech, and HardTech.

“We are honored to have been selected out of hundreds of applicants,” said Paul Dreier, Novilytic CEO. “Our goal for the event is to demonstrate how the Proteometer-L Kit will create a $2 billion market by replacing 40-year-old technologies while helping pharmaceutical companies bring new cures to the market quicker and at a lower cost.”

A panel of expert judges will evaluate pitches and select the most promising startups. Each of the five recipients will receive a cash investment of up to $1 million.

"Entrepreneurship has become increasingly challenging as the pandemic and fluctuations in capital markets continue to have lasting effects. With competition fiercer than ever, new entrants in the market face an uphill battle," said Elevate Ventures' CEO and Rally Visionary, Christopher Day. "The Rally IN-Prize Competition gives startups an opportunity to showcase their innovations and receive the funding and resources they need to make a tangible impact. The response has been tremendous, with 430 applications from 38 countries.”

The judging panels will include investment and technology experts nationwide with decades of experience growing and building successful companies.

About Novilytic

Novilytic has created the world’s first technology for at-line molecular structure analysis. Their Proteometer a.k.a. “proteoform meter” is an analytical tool for drug development and clone selection. It allows pharmaceutical companies to streamline their processes and to recognize in near real-time if a batch of medication is going awry. This eliminates costly post-purification efforts and helps breakthrough cures reach patients quicker. The technology is backed by multiple patents and was developed by some of the most brilliant minds in analytical chemistry. Visit Novilytic.com to learn more.
